Once upon a time, there lived a woman.

Yearning to become a mother without guidance, she sought the help of a witch. The witch bestowed upon her a magical barley grain and instructed her to nurture it.

After planting the special grain in a flower pot, tending to it with care, and conversing with it regularly, time transpired.

The ordinary grain blossomed into an exquisite flower resembling a tulip. Delicately touching its petals, the bloom unfurled to reveal a minuscule girl nestled within.

The woman joyously named her Thumbelina and showered her with affection.
